Schengen Visa Invitation Letter: What It Must Contain
An invitation should state length of stay, relationship, the host’s ID number (and national ID code if applicable), date and signature; add proof of ties and sponsorship/accommodation, sometimes on a national form.[1] Italy also asks for the host’s ID or residence permit copy.[2]
